Hailing from New Bedford Mass. Captain Dave has been a
career fisherman on Georges Banks for 30 years. No stranger
to adverse weather, Captain Dave is available to assist you
at any time!
Captain Paul moved to sunny
Florida from Maine in 2002. He has spent five years in the
US Navy and is retired from the US forest service. In
addition to working for Sea Tow Paul also teaches advanced
captains courses in the Charlotte Harbor area.
Captain Ed Joined the Sea Tow crew after relocating
from upstate NY in 2003. Our full time mechanic Captain Ed
spends most of his days performing the un-ending task of
maintaining a fleet of boats and equipment. In addition to
being a US Coast Guard licensed captain Ed is also Haz-Mat
certified and is an FAA licensed private pilot.
Captain Ron M. has retired from nearly thirty years
in law enforcement before taking up permanent residence in
Port Charlotte. Captain Ron has been an avid boater since
the 50s. He can be seen cruising Charlotte Harbor on his
days off aboard the Steffi J. Besides towing Captain Ron
can be heard dispatching from our local office, and seen out
on the road promoting Sea Tow and Boater safety.
Captain Marcus Shore
Diane is our office manager and
has re-located from upstate NY. Hers is the voice most often
heard talking with Sea Tow members over VHF radio in
Charlotte Harbor. In addition to dispatch Diane also
performs an assortment of jobs that include customer service
and book keeping.
Sara Alise Gentile, our friendly night dispatcher,
is no stranger to Sea Tow - her dad captained for Sea
Tow when the family relocated to the area 15 years ago.
Sara has been working with boaters since. From
collecting boat launch fees as a teen, to working for
Sea Tow , to helping distressed boaters throughout the
night - Sara loves the marine industry! Whatever you
need, she's always happy to help. You can even see her
mom working around the waters delivering groceries and
serving island clients' needs.
